In 2012, Ken founded KF Strategic Consulting in Singapore, where he provides consulting services to Japanese listed companies, family offices and medical startups.

 

He has over 30-years’ experience in cross-border finance and transactions worldwide, first as a loan officer at Japan Bank of International Cooperation, where he managed infrastructure finance in Latin America from 1986 to 1994. Ken worked as an analyst/fund manager at SPARX group in Tokyo, after which he founded and managed investment management companies in Singapore in the 2000s.

 

Ken holds a BA from University of Tokyo (1986) and an MBA from Columbia University (1996). He is fluent in Japanese, English and Spanish, with intermediate proficiency in Mandarin and Portuguese.
